Red Nose Day ~ May 26!!

“It’s time to get seriously silly!”

red nose 2Get your Red Nose at Walgreens* and join us at the Anchor Café, Grande Dunes Marina (bypass 17 @ 84th Ave N.) for Happy Hour on Thursday, May 26. Gather your family, friends, and neighbors and come celebrate with Hope House volunteers and donors.

*Purchase of red nose provides funds towards walgreens’ efforts to stamp out homelessness, hunger, and poverty in children.


 

APRIL: South Carolina Alpha Delta Kappa Teacher’s Sorority 2016 Conference

16.04Apr_AlphaDeltaKappThis year’s conference was held at Myrtle Beach’s Springmaid Pier, April 8 – 10. Hope House was graciously named as their 2016 Conference Altruistic Project and received over $5,000 in donations from the generosity of their members and sisters in attendance. Vice-President, Cookie Goings who is also a Myrtle Beach High School Guidance Counselor, along with Hope House Student Keo, shared their inspirational and heartfelt stories at the conference luncheon.

What a year for Hope House because of our very kind and generous supporters. YOU made the 2015 holidays jolly and bright for our Hope House students!!
  • Last summer Community Partner, Anchor Café raised $2,468 from the second annual Dollar Toss!! LStar management matched this amount  bring the grand Dollar Toss total to $4,936!!!
  • At Thanksgiving Hope House joined Joshua Academy and “Feed the Families” in providing a holiday feast for ALL our kids and their families. Events held at Myrtle Beach High, St. James and Socastee High Schools.
  • Community Partner Costco hosted a festive Christmas Party for Hope House students complete with yummy refreshments, goodies, and gifts. Victory Baptist Church volunteers assisted with the celebration and had the Most FUN!
  • Costco announced Christmas Party to be an annual event!
  • December brought some very generous donations. Many local organizations and dozens of individuals presented monetary donations to support our Hope House kids including . . .
