“Impressed with the work you do in the community,” Glasspro, South Carolina’s Auto Glass Experts, chose Hope House of Myrtle Beach as the Channel 13 – 3 Degree organization for January 2015!

News 13 WBTW Meteorologist Frank Johnson provides the next day’s temperature every weekday in the 6:00 PM News. Every time the actual high temperature is within 3 degrees of what he forecasts, Glasspro donates at least $100.00 to a local non-profit organization.

Hope House of Myrtle Beach is a totally volunteer managed non-profit dedicated to furthering the education and general well-being of homeless Myrtle Beach High School students. It is their objective to insure a community based support system which will give disadvantaged teens the shelter and security they need to graduate from high school and develop their career goals.

Paul Heinauer, President of Glasspro, and Mr. Johnson presented a check on February 5 for $1,500.00 to Gretchen Abney of Hope House on the 6:00 News weather spot.

“We are thrilled! What a way to start the New Year!” said Ms. Abney who went on to congratulate Glasspro on celebrating their 20th anniversary in business last month.

“And a huge thank you to Frank Johnson for being such an accurate forecaster of the daily temperatures,”¬†Abney added. “Not an easy job in January!
